Behind the bench
The Shop
Every club that comes through Burton is worked by hand by Ken Flanigan. This is where the craft lives.
Flanigan Bilt Golf is the work of Ken Flanigan — a master craftsman, putter designer, and former firefighter who has collected or appraised more than 24,000 vintage clubs. That obsession with how a club is made is the foundation under every refinish and restoration that leaves Burton.
The shop is mail-in. Players across the country send in irons, wedges, and putters — Scotty Cameron, Mizuno, Miura, Ben Hogan, Vokey, Ping — and get them back refinished, restored, or customized one at a time, by hand. Meticulous chrome work and the signature Black N-Eleven finish are what keep them coming back.
